Having cooked on gas and charcoal grills my whole life I didn't think I would like using a griddle. Then I won a 36" Blackstone Griddle in a raffle. Even then I hesitated to put it together and try it out. Then I thought what the heck might as well give it shot. From the very first time cooking on it I was hooked. All the benefits of grilling without the issues of grills (hot and cold spots, flare ups, rusty dirty grates). Now I'm a "true believer" in my Blackstone, so much so that I bought a second smaller (17") one to use when cooking for just the wife and I and take on vacation.

This is our second Blackstone Grill. The first one we purchased for our RV, but decided to use it at home instead. We now purchased our second one a 17 inch OTG for the road. Blackstone is the only appliance for us for cooking when we’re on the road no barbecue for us.

I haven't christened my new 17" Blackstone Omnivore Griddle Plate yet but I have used my nephews full-sized Blackstone and fell in love with it. Saw this small Blackstone at Camping World and my partner bought it for me. Look forward to using it. Bye-bye old grill.
