excited to use, but damaged upon arrival

I purchased this through the canadian blackstone website. Waited over a month to recieve it, only for it to be damaged. Have reached out to find out what can be done about the damage to the griddle, but haven't heard anything back yet. Discouraged, but hoping the product works as intended.

Perfect size for tailgating
