Natural Gas Conversion Kit W/ Wind Guards

I was so over expired propane bottles so was overjoyed to see this Blackstone conversion kit. Although I quickly lost my joy when I read that my model #2022 (pellet griddle combo) was not convertible. Upon research, stumbled across a Reddit post stating otherwise, so decided to go ahead and open the package (I mean, it’s only money, right?). I was able to convert it, the jets and wrench worked great and, with the minor caveat of having to cut about two inches off each side of the wind deflectors so they would slide on,there were no problems. I do love the conversion, nice hot solid blue flame. My IR gun gives a reading of 480+° on the griddle.

I just bought the 36-in with the omnivore grill! I had no problem installing new orfices for the natural gas conversion! But note using the enclosed wrench can get you in trouble installing the orfices! I also purchased the optional Hood where you can close and cook your food the cover with the two handles does not allow you to cook with the lid closed also purchase the cover to protect the entire grill after you install the optional cookable Hood cover!

Doesn't contain correct orifices sizes for some griddles. The description implies all 28" griddles are compatible. I have 28" 2145 model and the orifices in this model are smaller with a different thread size. There should be a more thorough chart for determining compatibility.

This was the perfect finishing touch to a great Christmas present. This keeps me from buying never-ending propane tanks. Note that these don't go with ALL of the griddles but if you can chat with customer service they'll let you know if it will work with your griddle.

The kit was easy to install, but to be fair this isn't my first conversion, my gas grill has also been converted. The one caution is the instructions call for high heat thread sealer. Just get one of the two products listed in the instructions and you will be fine.

The kit includes everything that you will need to do the conversion. Take seriously the advice not to over-tighten the orifices when you put them in the valve. Over-tightening will crack the valve and cause a delay as you wait for a new valve to be shipped.

The Natural Gas Conversion Kit W/Wind Guards, first is a great value for the items you receive. Secondly, I now will not have to change tanks, or worry about running out of propane while cooking. Keep on grilling everyone. Thanks Blackstone

Easy to install. Recommend reading through instructions and watch video first. Also installed a dual adapter on my line to have the other line going to my grill.
