Iron Forged 36" Griddle W/Hood, Natural Gas

Love this griddle! The 36" is perfect size without being overcrowded. The natural gas conversion kit instructions say to use 1.55 orifice with the Omnivore Griddle Top, and it works great. I wanted to point that out because I think most of the tutorial's I watched say to use the 2mm orifice. Shipping needs to be addressed, these boxes are way too heavy for one Fedex Driver, our driver had to slide the box out of the back of the truck and basically break the fall. Our box was pretty beat up and opened on one end, but luckily no damage. I'm not sure this model has a garbage bag holder as advertised? If it does mine is missing.

Damaged during shipment

FedEx delivered on February 13. The box looked like it had been through the mill. Everything seemed okay until final assembly. I noticed the corners of the lid are damaged. The lid rubs and does not close properly.

Nice setup but long term quality maybe suspect

Got the grill for Christmas present but the left shelf corner bracket tack weld came off, so the shelf slumped down and to the front left of grill. I reached out to Blackstone support to see what I could do anbout it but have yet to get a call back. I called Ace Hardware where my mother in-law purchased it and they exchanged it for a new one the very next morning. Great customer service as Ace Hardware. However, this experience leaves me to wonder how it will hold up long-term. Can it compete with a Weber? We shall see. I’ve had my Genesis Weber grill for 12.5yrs and it’s still going strong accept for normal parts replacements. I am looking forward to cooking on this nice looking Blackstone grill and will provide a review after I’ve had some time to use it but step up your game Blackstone in customer service. Your reputation is riding on it.

Shelf not welded appropriately.

One of the shelves, the one that has the extension isn’t welded correctly and is angled. What is involved in getting a new one shipped or this one sent back to fix it?

Best Grill Purchase

I bought this grill a month ago, took about 30min to assemble, very easy. After seasoning it the first day, again very easy when you follow the video, breakfast the next morning was fantastic! I have since cooked everything from pancakes, steak, smash burgers, to stir-fry. The wife says she will never cook on the stove again! Never thought I would enjoy cooking this much even in 100 deg temps in NC.
