I recently purchased the 36” Griddle and due to winds preventing the griddle from heating up past 250 F. I ordered the wind guards and they really do help. The winds are not affecting my Griddle temp!

It doesn’t conform to the side rails, there straight and the sides have a slight downward curve.

I barbeque once a week with my 36" Blackstone Griddle. 40 hamburgers and 50 hot dogs. It would work great on calm days however when there is a little breeze it seemed to take a little longer and the griddle would not get as hot. I heard about the wind guards from a friend and decided to purchase them. We had the Santana winds the weekend I got the guards and the wind guards saved the day or it would have taken a long time to cook everything. I use the wind guards every weekend now and the griddle gets hotter and cooks faster. The way I see it I will use less propane so they should pay for themselves before long. Good investment, one satisfied customer here.

Thes do what they are intended for. Grilling in a windy day can be bothersome but this is an easier fix. Although if you have a top and you hang your top on the back of the grill while you’re grilling then the side plates are the only ones you need.

These are great, if you have any kind of breeze this works great and you can move them around to better block the wind.

There always seems to be a breeze at my house. These wind guards have made it so I don’t even notice. The griddle stays at a constant temperature and the cool spots seem to have disappeared!
