Much better than the soft cover, no waiting for the griddle off. Can be used as a steamer or for melting cheese when placed on the griddle as well.

I am very happy with my cover and now that I have it. I can keep my griddle plate even cleaner and rust free.

I just received my 36" Griddle Hard Cover and couldn't be happier. I had read a few reviews suggesting that is was flimsy and this was my only concern. It is not. It's well made, powder coated, and fits perfect. I don't think it could be any heavier without being a problem. I made a point to come straight here and write this review. If you want a hard cover fear not. This is a great add on for your griddle.

It was slightly bent on the back . Also missing little back of screws. Other than that looks good.

Cover feels fairly sturdy and covered the griddle well. I use a soft cover over the top of the hard cover just as a secondary form of protection from weather. I like how it hangs on the back of the griddle while cooking. It creates a wind barrier and acts as a splash guard. It does push up against the drip tray while hanging on the back but the tray is still able to function without being squished. Good addition
