I like it bc it is heavy duty and it should last a long time. It is also big enough to cover the propane tank.

Its very easy to set up and to season. Once it is seasoned is Very none stick. Had no problems cooking pancake and eggs on it. High quality gridle.

I bought this 6 months ago and have been testing it out, putting it through the paces. It is really a well built and functional piece of equipment. The assembly was time consuming but not difficult. All of the parts, burners and frame are well made and sturdy. The top is ridiculously heavy. Once together it is very solid. My one and only issue was with the seasoning instructions. The video instructions clearly state "don't worry about scraping anything off" however the top has an oil on it which I assume is there to protect it during storage and shipping. If I did it again I would thoroughly clean this off and start with a clean metal top as this oil created some sticky spots. I ended up stripping it off and seasoning again. Ended up with a slick, non stick surface that works great. I recommend following the video for rehabbing a top rather than the new top video. It made no sense to me at the time to leave the top and I should have gone with my instincts. Using the griddle once it is properly seasoned is a pleasure, it is actually fun. Steaks, burgers, steak and cheese and even pancakes turn out awesome. I would use this thing all the time if I could. Just an exceptionally well made functional piece of equipment.

The griddle is fantastic! I cook on it 3-4 times a week and the results are second to none. I purchased a cover to protect my investment. After each use I wait until the griddle cools down and then put on the cover. The cover is listed as weather resistant. I started noticing water on the griddle when I took off the cover to use it. Maybe water was blowing from underneath in nasty storms? Then I noticed water gathering on e griddle after light rains. Upon inspecting the cover the inside of the cover was peeling and water was leaking on the griddle top causing the griddle to rust. I took pictures (see attached pics) and sent Them to Blackstone customers service. The rep told me that the cover isn’t made to protect the griddle from water And gave me instruction on how remove the surface rust. Hopefully they have taken care of the issue. Why buy a cover if it doesn’t protect your griddle from the elements?

I’ve had my griddle and cover for just over 1 year and while it was a good looking cover it has torn at the corners. I agree with others that this cover is not water proof but worse yet it was so snug at the corners that they have torn. The tear is not exactly at the corner but the material directly next to the stitched corner. Unfortunately these tears will only continue to get larger because the cover is so snug at the corners. We can’t reset or tape the tears because sewing would only make it tighter and would be a waste of time. At just about $45 this cover isn’t worth it since I now need to replace it so going with a cheaper cover that may only last a yr. would be less costly over time.

I have had this cover for just about a year now and the rubber coating on the inside of the cover has started to crack and flake off. It no longer protects the grill top from the rain, allowing water to pool on the grill top and in the grease can. My grill is only outside during the summer. I stored it in my garage with the cover off it during the winter. I only purchased the cover over the cheaper one because it fit nice and I assumed it was better built. This cover is a waste of 45 dollars. I am now using a cheap cover like the one on my gas grill( that one has lasted over 2 years).

Fits perfect … only change I suggest is to reverse the tie down straps and ends under the bottom … normally you will be in front of the griddle when you attach the cover … the straps are attached so as to fasten and tighten them you have to go to the back or behind the griddle which if any side of it is against a wall it would be the back … this means you have to move the griddle out to get behind it … not a big problem but just a change I would make so I could fasten it without moving
