12" x 14" Griddle with Side Burner

Nice compact camping griddle/burner combo. Right size what we were looking for. My griddle only had one issue, what I could fix myself. The hood hinge seemed to be not properly mounted and at first I couldn’t open it up. But after fiddling around a bit, I got it open. The rotation screw was a bit too loose and everything bent a bit. This could be due to fiddling to open it. The hinge could be a bit more sturdy! Oh, and a screw fell out, not sure where it belongs since I cannot find any empty hole/thread. But overall it looks like the perfect match for our tent camping trips!

The paint is already coming off from just getting shipped. I am excited to use it other than that one issue.

The packaging tape that was placed on the corners to protect the finish, actually removed the finish right out of the box. We camp on the barrier islands near us on the Gulf of America. The salt water air is brutal on the metals, and I was a little bummed that that layer of protection was gone out of the box. I am absolutely positive that we will cause way more damage to the unit in the upcoming adventures. Love the construction. Feels well built.

This will accompany us on the flat bottom boat to play on the river all day and then grill fresh fish, burgers, steaks, and whatever else anyone feels like having. We haven’t seen one like this on the water but the best thing is I can easily cook for 4 adults and there’s no hot coal or messy charcoal to pack around with everything else. Send SWAG Blackstone!!! I was looking around on YouTube for reviews on camp cooking, and there are lots of good things out there. There were three main categories I found - Grill, Burner, and Griddle. Wouldn’t you know, this nifty unit checks off the griddle and burner in one unit. If I wanted to check the third box, I could easily get a cast iron grill grate and throw it over the burner. With that in mind, I watched several YouTube videos on this product before purchase. All of them have held this to high standards and were pleased - and so am I. This Griddle is perfect, I’m very impressed. Sturdy, easy to pack, unpack, and the compact size is great for throwing in the truck or boat for small grilling sessions. I’m very happy and would recommend skipping the cheaper brands on the shelf and go for this model. I also got the picnic set to match and has came in very handy for the kiddos
